Work in Defense Tech: Our Company Joined KSE Career Day 2026

10.06.2026

Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech took part in KSE Career Day 2026, a large-scale career event organized by the Kyiv School of Economics. The event brought together students, employers, and representatives of leading Ukrainian companies.

As part of Career Day, the BlueBird Tech team met with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, including Software Engineering, IT, engineering disciplines, Economics, Data Analytics, and Project Management. Attendees were interested not only in career opportunities but also in how technologies are developed and deployed to help defend Ukraine today.

At the company’s booth, members of the HR team introduced visitors to available job openings, internship programs, and employment opportunities for students and recent graduates. Flexible work formats, including remote and part-time positions, attracted particular interest, allowing young professionals to gain hands-on experience while continuing their studies.

Following the event, more than 30 students submitted their CVs for further consideration. The greatest interest was shown in opportunities related to Software Engineering, IT, Finance, and Programming.

Another highlight of the event was the demonstration of BlueBird Tech’s technological solutions. Students had the opportunity to get a closer look at the company’s flagship product, the “Chuyka” drone detector.

In addition, company representatives took part in mock interview sessions. During these practical workshops, BlueBird Tech’s HR specialists conducted group interviews, asked candidates common recruitment questions, and shared valuable tips for successfully navigating the hiring process at technology companies.

“For us, participating in KSE Career Day is not only about finding future employees. It is also an opportunity to show students that Ukraine’s technology sector offers complex, ambitious, and socially significant challenges. We see great potential in young professionals and are eager to involve them in developing technologies that contribute to Ukraine’s defense capabilities,” the HR Department at BlueBird Tech commented.

The company participated in Career Day as a partner of the Kyiv School of Economics as part of a strategic collaboration with the university. This partnership is aimed at helping students gain practical experience, understand real market needs, and find opportunities for professional development while still studying.
