Our Company Unveils a New Version of Its Drone Detector
BlueBird Tech is launching a new version of the popular Ukrainian drone detector — Chuyka 3 Plus. The device retains three scanning bands and now features an expanded 3.3 GHz mid-frequency band covering frequencies from 2,870 to 4,500 MHz.
Chuyka 3 Plus is designed to detect analogue signals from FPV drones. The detector automatically scans three frequency bands: 900–2,200 MHz, 2,870–4,500 MHz and 4,860–6,060 MHz. A full scanning cycle takes 4–8 seconds. When a signal is detected, the device provides audible and visual alerts.
Information about detected signals is displayed on the smaller screen, while the larger screen allows users to view the intercepted video signal from an FPV drone’s camera, just as with the previous version of the detector.
The device can also transmit video to external displays via a video output.
“Chuyka 3 Plus is an enhanced version of the legendary Chuyka 3.0 detector. We expanded its frequency coverage so that military personnel and civilians can detect more signals from the FPV drones currently used by the enemy. The more threats people can identify in time, the better they can understand the situation around them and the more opportunities they have to protect themselves from Russian attacks,” BlueBird Tech engineers explain.
The detection range remains unchanged at up to 4 km, depending on operating conditions and the type of antennas used. The device weighs 650 g, features an IP54-rated PETG plastic housing and provides up to six hours of operation from its built-in 4,500 mAh battery.
Chuyka 3 Plus is already available to order from the official BlueBird Tech website.
