BlueBird Tech is developing cooperation with Ukrainian technical educational institutions. A strategic partnership agreement has been concluded with Vinnytsia National Technical University and Sumy State University.
Overall, BlueBird Tech already has partnerships with 6 educational institutions in Ukraine.
Students in Sumy and Vinnytsia attended lectures by BlueBird Tech engineers, who spoke about the goals, challenges, and opportunities of Ukrainian technologies. The speed of technology implementation on a dynamic battlefield was also discussed.
Students saw firsthand products that are already carrying out combat missions on the front line today – namely, fixed-wing UAVs “Bebradrone,” FPV drones “Zhakh,” and drone detectors “Chuyka.”
In total, more than 200 students attended the lectures in the two cities.
“For us, it is important not only to talk about modern solutions but also to demonstrate them. Students of technical universities need to understand which technologies are most in demand today, how quickly the defense sector is changing, and what challenges manufacturers face. Such practical experience allows future specialists to adapt more quickly to real production processes and, in the future, contribute to creating new innovative solutions for Ukraine,” note BlueBird Tech engineers.
Universities in Sumy and Vinnytsia emphasize that cooperation with defense technology companies is extremely important, as such interaction allows students to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also an understanding of the real challenges of the modern technology industry.
“These meetings are important for young people – through real cases and real employment opportunities, they move students from theoretical learning to modern practical experience, here and now,” says the Head of the Student Self-Government of the Faculty of Information Electronic Systems at VNTU, Dmytro Slobodyanyk.
Universities also emphasize that cooperation with technology companies should be systematic, ranging from joint events and internships to the involvement of businesses in the educational process and applied research.
“When such market leaders as Blue Bird Tech come to a university, it is seen as an opportunity to establish sustainable and multilateral connections. The university is interested in formalizing cooperation: agreements, memoranda, etc., involving company representatives as lecturers, reviewers of educational programs, and members of employer councils. Finally, the university is interested in our researchers implementing applied solutions for companies like BlueBird Tech,” emphasizes Taras Lyutyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Computerized Control Systems and First Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies.
BlueBird Tech already has strategic partnerships with the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv Aviation Institute, Khmelnytskyi National University, International University in Odesa, as well as Vinnytsia National Technical University and Sumy State University.
