Robots, AI, and young engineers: how our company supports the future of Ukrainian technology
The Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech became a strategic partner of the first robotics competitions in Ukraine in a 3D maze under IEEE standards — Robo Intelligence. The competition was held at Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University.
The event brought together more than 50 participants — school students, technical college students, polytechnic students, and young engineering enthusiasts, who over two days tested robots, algorithms, and AI solutions on real-world tracks.
The participants:
- launched robots in 3D mazes;
- tested autonomous navigation algorithms;
- participated in workshops and technical discussions;
- met representatives of the IT and defense-tech industries.
For BlueBird Tech, participation in Robo Intelligence was not just a partnership, but part of a broader mission — supporting a new generation of Ukrainian engineers. The company contributed to the creation of competition tracks for robots and presented gifts to the tournament’s winners and top participants.
“We saw how talented and technologically strong Ukrainian youth is. Participants quickly master modern technologies, develop their own engineering solutions, and are genuinely interested in what the military is currently using on the front line. For us, this is a signal that a new generation of engineers and defense-tech developers is emerging in Ukraine. Even during the event, we noticed several very promising participants whom we would like to involve in our future technology projects,” noted the company BlueBird Tech.
In addition, BlueBird Tech presented a booth at the event featuring its own products, including the “Chuyka” drone detectors, fixed-wing UAV “Bebradrone,” FPV drones “Zhakh,” the “Promin” repeater drone, and the “Chipa” net launcher.
The products generated steady interest among students, and company representatives explained the characteristics of each product.
BlueBird Tech emphasizes that supporting young engineers today is an investment in Ukraine’s technological resilience tomorrow.
