Our Company to Teach SET University Students How to Build Autonomous Systems

11.09.2026

Technology company BlueBird Tech will deliver specialized lectures for SET University students. The company’s engineers will teach the Autonomous Systems Hardware & Power Systems course as part of the Master’s program in Computer Engineering of Autonomous Systems.

The lectures will be delivered as part of the strategic partnership established in the summer of 2026. Through this cooperation, BlueBird Tech’s practicing engineers will work directly with students through guest lectures, real-world case studies, joint webinars, and internships.

The course will be part of SET University’s autonomous systems program, which covers the entire development and operation cycle of such technologies — from mechanics and power systems to navigation, mission control, and regulatory issues.

Classes will be held online via Zoom for groups of up to 20 students, allowing each participant to interact directly with the instructors and ask questions. Students will also receive materials for independent study.

A key feature of the program is its focus on practical experience. Some SET University students are already working in the industry, while one-quarter of the participants have military experience or are veterans.

“For BlueBird Tech, this is an example of how cooperation between education and the defense industry should work — when up-to-date knowledge and practical experience are transferred directly to the specialists who will develop the technologies of the future. We believe that a strong defense tech ecosystem begins not only with manufacturing but also with high-quality education and direct interaction between businesses, experts, and future professionals,” BlueBird Tech representatives say.

BlueBird Tech is open to cooperation with universities and educational platforms to share practical knowledge with students, help develop a new generation of engineers, and drive the country’s technological development.
