Our Company Launches In-House Production of Antennas for FPV Drones and Communication Systems in Ukraine

20.09.2026

BlueBird Tech is introducing two new antennas developed and manufactured in-house: the CLOVER 3.5–4.5 GHz and the PCB VeeDip 1.2 GHz. Both models were designed and manufactured in Ukraine for use with communication systems, UAVs, and equipment that operates with radio signals under challenging frontline conditions.

The new antennas significantly improve the stability of signal transmission and reception, including video, telemetry, and control signals. Both models are already available through BlueBird Tech’s official channels.

“For BlueBird Tech, this is more than simply expanding our product portfolio, including our antenna range. We are consistently developing our own production of essential components for UAVs and radio systems so that Ukrainian service members and manufacturers have access to ready-to-use solutions produced at facilities in Ukraine,” BlueBird Tech engineers noted.

How the CLOVER 3.5–4.5 GHz Antenna Works

The CLOVER 3.5–4.5 GHz is an omnidirectional cloverleaf antenna with circular polarisation. Its primary operating range is 3.5–4.5 GHz, while it can receive signals across the 3.0–4.9 GHz range.

The antenna can be used on FPV drones to transmit and receive video, as well as in UAV detection systems, including drone detectors from different manufacturers. Its extended frequency range makes it possible to detect not only FPV drones but also enemy fixed-wing UAVs such as the Molniya.

The omnidirectional design lets the antenna work with signals from all directions, while its weight of about 30 grams makes it easy to integrate into equipment from different manufacturers. The antenna costs UAH 600, including VAT.

How the PCB VeeDip 1.2 GHz Antenna Works

The PCB VeeDip is a planar V-shaped dipole antenna designed for the 1150–1300 MHz frequency range. It can be installed directly on UAVs, mobile repeaters, or ground stations.

Its key advantage is its compact size. The antenna weighs only 11 grams and does not add significant weight to lightweight drones.

The antenna is designed to transmit and receive radio signals, including video, telemetry, and control signals. It costs UAH 336, including VAT.
