Our Company Launches a Portable Power Station Rental Service
BlueBird Tech is launching a rental service for Genera-1200 portable power stations, available throughout Ukraine. The new service is designed to help Ukrainians prepare for possible prolonged power outages amid the risk of further large-scale Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
The rental model is straightforward: users can rent a Genera-1200 for the period they need. The rental price is UAH 900 per day.
“We understand that not everyone is ready to purchase a portable power station at full price, especially if it is only needed for a limited period, such as during winter. That is why we are launching the rental service as an opportunity to secure backup power exactly when it is needed. Renting also gives users an opportunity to test the station before potentially purchasing it,” BlueBird Tech representatives say.
Rental payments are credited toward the price of the station if the user later decides to purchase it. The daily rental fee is deducted from the deposit, and if the deposit is fully used, the station automatically becomes the renter’s property. The full price of the station is UAH 54,840 including VAT.
What Can Be Powered During an Outage
The Genera-1200 is equipped with a 1,344 Wh LiFePO4 battery and has a rated output of 700 W, with peak power of up to 1,000 W.
The station features a 220 V pure sine wave output, allowing it to power household appliances and electronic devices as long as their power consumption remains within the station’s supported load.
Depending on the power consumption of each device and other equipment connected at the same time, the Genera-1200 can provide approximately:
- Wi-Fi router and optical network terminal: up to 20–40 hours;
- laptop: approximately 15–25 hours;
- TV: around 10–15 hours;
- LED lighting: dozens of hours;
- smartphones, power banks, and other electronics: multiple recharges;
- gas boiler and circulation pump: approximately 10–20 hours, depending on actual power consumption;
- small electronics and communication devices: extended periods of operation.
Actual runtime depends on the power consumption of each device, the total simultaneous load, and operating conditions.
For example, with a hypothetical load of 100 W — powering an internet connection, limited lighting, and charging a smartphone — the available energy could theoretically provide approximately 13 hours of operation. The actual runtime will depend on the station’s operating conditions and mode.
At the same time, the station is not designed to power high-consumption heating appliances such as electric kettles, space heaters, or water heaters, as their power requirements may exceed the station’s capabilities.
The station can be fully charged from a 220 V power outlet in approximately 3–4 hours. It can also be charged using solar panels through its built-in MPPT controller.
Other features include a Battery Management System (BMS), protection against overcharging, deep discharge, and short circuits, a durable metal enclosure, and an LCD display.
How to Rent a Genera-1200 Portable Power Station
To rent a station, users need to:
- sign a rental agreement;
- provide a deposit equal to the full price of the station;
- pay UAH 900 for each day of use.
After the station is returned and its condition is inspected, the deposit is refunded to the user, provided that the equipment has not been damaged.
The Genera-1200 can be rented for the required period through the official BlueBird Tech website under the Services section.
