Our Company Explored New Partnership Opportunities with European Companies at URC 2026

08.07.2026

BlueBird Tech participated in the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC 2026) in Gdańsk, Poland. The conference brought together representatives of governments, international organizations, investors, technology companies, and businesses from around the world.

URC 2026 is one of the leading international platforms shaping Ukraine’s future and defining the key priorities for international cooperation.

For the first time, Security & Defence was one of the conference’s central focus areas, underscoring the growing importance of defence technologies not only for national security but also for Ukraine’s long-term economic recovery and sustainable growth.

At the conference’s Defence Zone, BlueBird Tech showcased its technologies, including its “Chuyka 3.0” drone detectors, presented in multiple color variants.

Over the course of the two-day event, BlueBird Tech representatives held dozens of meetings with international businesses, investors, defence companies, and prospective partners from across the European Union. Discussions focused on opportunities for long-term cooperation, industrial collaboration, and scaling Ukrainian defence technologies to international markets.

During the company’s visit to Poland, the BlueBird Tech team also toured a local manufacturing facility to explore its production capabilities and discuss potential areas of future cooperation. Among the opportunities considered were the manufacturing of selected components, the development of joint projects, and deeper integration of Ukrainian technologies into the European industrial ecosystem.

“Ukrainian defence-tech companies have already become integral players in Europe’s defence ecosystem. In our meetings with partners, we are discussing not only technology supply opportunities but also joint manufacturing, localization of selected components, and the launch of new collaborative projects. This is an important step toward scaling Ukrainian innovations internationally and making them part of Europe’s future security architecture,” said Tetiana Uzhviy, Head of Export Department at BlueBird Tech

In addition to participating in the exhibition area, BlueBird Tech became a partner of the side event “Joint Future via Defence Programs,” organized by Tech Forces in UA and Diia.City Union. The event brought together representatives of NATO, the European Commission, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, and international partners to discuss future cooperation between Ukraine’s defence industry and partners across the EU and NATO.

URC 2026 once again demonstrated that Ukraine’s recovery is inseparable from the development of a high-tech defence industry.
