Ukrainian defense-tech company BlueBird Tech is launching a new service — rental of the “Chuyka 3.0” drone detector. From now on, customers can rent the device for the period that best suits their needs.
The minimum rental period is one day, with a rental fee of UAH 290 per day. To rent the device, customers must sign a rental agreement and provide a security deposit equal to the device’s value (UAH 30,840). The deposit is fully refunded upon the return of the “Chuyka 3.0” drone detector.
A rent-to-own option is also available for the drone detector. Once the total rental payments reach the device’s full value, the user may keep the “Chuyka 3.0” by BlueBird Tech without any additional payment.
“At BlueBird Tech, we understand that the need for a drone detector can vary. Some users want to test the ‘Chuyka’ in real-world conditions before making a purchase decision, while others only need the device for a specific period—for example, during operations in a combat zone, a business trip, or a humanitarian mission. At the same time, it is important that as many Ukrainians as possible have access to technologies that help detect Russian drones in time and enhance personal safety. That is why we are launching the ‘Chuyka’ drone detector rental service, allowing anyone who needs it to use an up-to-date detection device,” the company stated.
In addition to the drone detector itself, a range of optional equipment is also available for rent:
- Remote antenna with a 3 m cable — UAH 95 per day;
- Remote antenna with a 5 m cable — UAH 110 per day;
- Remote antenna with a 10 m cable — UAH 130 per day.
BlueBird Tech adds that the new service will be particularly useful for volunteers, residents of frontline communities, businesses, and individuals who want to improve their level of safety while working or spending short periods in areas where there is a potential threat from unmanned aerial vehicles.
