Operating principle
The springs are installed between the antenna and its mounting point, where they act as a shock-absorbing element. During vehicle movement over rough terrain, off-road areas, or forested paths, they compensate for part of the vibrations and mechanical loads that would otherwise be transferred directly to the antenna.
As a result, the risk of mechanical damage, deformation, or failure of sensitive antenna components is reduced. This helps maintain stable antenna performance and improves the effectiveness of EW systems in field conditions.
Operating recommendations
- Use antenna springs in systems operating in the 0–7 GHz frequency range.
- Check connector compatibility before connection. Connection type: RF N-male.
- Use springs on equipment operating under strong vibrations, shocks, and mechanical stress.
- Ensure correct installation before operation.
- Periodically inspect the condition of the spring and connections after intensive use.
