FAT Dipole RX 1.7–2.7 GHz by BlueBird Tech is a wideband dipole receiving antenna designed for installation onboard FPV drones to receive control-channel signals. It operates in the 1.7–2.7 GHz frequency range and is compatible with onboard receivers designed for the corresponding frequencies.
Functions of the antenna FAT Dipole RX 1.7–2.7 GHz
- Receives FPV drone control-channel signals in the 1.7–2.7 GHz frequency range.
- Works with onboard receivers that support the corresponding frequency range.
- Receives radio signals from different directions thanks to its omnidirectional radiation pattern.
- Supports linear polarization for compatibility with transmitting-side antennas of the same type.
- Integrates into compact FPV platforms thanks to its 4 g weight and flat PCB design.
- Connects to the receiver via a U.FL / I-PEX MHF I connector and a 10 cm RF1.13 coaxial cable.
Operating principle of the antenna FAT Dipole RX 1.7–2.7 GHz
- The antenna is installed on the FPV platform and connected to a compatible receiver via a U.FL/I-PEX MHF I connector.
- During operation, the antenna receives electromagnetic waves from the control channel in the 1.7–2.7 GHz frequency range.
- The dipole design provides an omnidirectional radiation pattern, enabling signal reception from different directions relative to the aircraft.
- The received signal is transmitted via the RF1.13 coaxial cable to the onboard receiver.
- The receiver processes the signal and passes the commands to the UAV control system.
