The CLOVER 5.8 GHz Antenna by BlueBird Tech is an omnidirectional cloverleaf antenna designed for transmitting and receiving radio signals in systems operating within the 4.9–6.1 GHz frequency range. Thanks to its wide operating bandwidth, the antenna can be used with a variety of radio-frequency devices. It is suitable for both the transmitting and receiving ends of a radio communication link.
The antenna features right-hand circular polarization, an omnidirectional radiation pattern, and a gain of approximately 2.0 dBic.
CLOVER 5.8 GHz Antenna Functions
- Transmits radio signals within the 4.9–6.1 GHz frequency range.
- Receives radio signals within the 4.9–6.1 GHz frequency range.
- Operates on both the transmitting and receiving and transmitting sides of a radio communication link.
- Provides an omnidirectional radiation pattern.
- Supports right-hand circular polarization.
- Connects to compatible equipment via an SMA male connector.
How the CLOVER 5.8 GHz Antenna Works
- The antenna connects to compatible transmitting or receiving equipment via an RG402 coaxial cable with an SMA male connector.
- During transmission, the antenna radiates radio signals using right-hand circular polarization. Its omnidirectional radiation pattern ensures signal coverage in all directions around the antenna.
- During reception, the CLOVER 5.8 GHz Antenna receives radio signals within its operating frequency range and delivers them to the connected equipment.
