Our Company’s Drone Detector Now Features Video Output: How It Works
BlueBird Tech presents the new “Chuyka” drone detector, now featuring video output that enables intercepted video from enemy FPV drones to be displayed on large monitors in dugouts.
The update was developed in response to frontline operators’ demand for expanded functionality. The new “Chuyka” received an integrated analog video output via a 4-pin mini-jack connector. This allows operators at command posts to connect the detector to an external screen or TV with an analog video input.
BlueBird Tech notes that the “Chuyka” with video output is not a serial product. Instead, the feature is available exclusively as an optional custom configuration upon request. At the same time, the device configuration remains standard, with no additional accessories included.
“We added this interface at the request of the military personnel working at command posts. The built-in color display of the ‘Chuyka’ is fully sufficient for individual use. However, when the intercepted video needs to be seen and analyzed by an entire group, a large external monitor becomes essential. The device, which can be equipped with remote antennas, operates in a fully passive mode, so transmitting the signal to an external display does not reveal the location of the command post,” BlueBird Tech engineers explain.
The “Chuyka 3.0” portable RF detector is a three-band analog video signal detector that scans the radio spectrum at 1.2 GHz / 3.3 GHz / 5.8 GHz frequencies, detecting UAVs at a distance of up to 4 km. The full automatic scanning cycle takes 4–8 seconds. The device has received official NATO codification and has been approved for use by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The “Chuyka” detector with the optional video output can be ordered on the official BlueBird Tech website.
