Our company presents a new version of a fixed-wing UAV

16.08.2026

BlueBird Tech presents a new modification of its fixed-wing UAV, the UAV Bebradrone-М. This specialized version is designed to train pilots and interceptor drone operators and to practice aerial target interception scenarios using a real unmanned aircraft rather than a simulator.

Operators can detect, pursue, and intercept a real target, gaining practical experience in conditions that closely replicate real-world combat scenarios.

The UAV Bebradrone-М can also be used to simulate a decoy target when practicing scenarios for countering aerial reconnaissance. To increase its radar signature, foil materials are applied to the UAV’s wings, creating an additional radar return and enabling teams to train for scenarios involving multiple aerial targets.

“We created the UAV Bebradrone-М as a practical training tool for operators. When working with interceptor drones, it is important not only to understand the theory but also to know how to engage with a real aerial target. Our UAV enables operators to practice these skills across a range of scenarios,” BlueBird Tech says.

Key Features of the New Fixed-Wing UAV Bebradrone-М

In terms of design and operating principle, BlueBird Tech’s UAV Bebradrone-М is similar to the combat UAV Bebradrone. The main differences are in the drone’s internal components.

The new modification does not have a warhead but can carry a payload of up to 2 kg. In addition, the UAV Bebradrone-М is not equipped with cruise control or navigation systems.

The standard configuration of the fixed-wing UAV includes:

  • a low-light camera;
  • analog video transmission;
  • 915 MHz control;
  • a 6S3P battery.

However, the configuration can be customized at the customer’s request by installing the required components. In such cases, the price is calculated separately based on the selected configuration.

The UAV Bebradrone-М is operator-controlled. The UAV has a cruising speed of 70 km/h and a maximum speed of up to 115 km/h. It can fly for up to 25 minutes, with an operating radius of up to 30 km, and can operate at altitudes ranging from 200 to 700 meters. The UAV Bebradrone-М is launched using a pneumatic catapult and features an automatic takeoff function.
