Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech is launching a new service – the rental of electronic warfare systems Hrets. Users can obtain an EW system for temporary use for an agreed period without having to purchase expensive equipment immediately.
The systems can be rented for a specific combat mission, testing under real operating conditions, or temporarily strengthening protection against enemy drones during deployment to a combat zone. Different configurations of the EW systems Hrets are available for rent.
The service is available to individuals, companies, charitable foundations, and volunteer organizations.
“We want to enable users to obtain the equipment they need more quickly without having to make a full purchase immediately. Rental can be a convenient option for those who want to test an EW system before purchasing it, assess its performance under real operating conditions, or only need the equipment for a limited period for a specific mission or deployment. In such cases, rental makes it possible to obtain the required solution precisely for the period when it is needed,” the BlueBird Tech sales department noted.
Three models are available for rent:
Hrets XL is a modular system designed to counter FPV drones. It operates within the 170–1050 MHz and 2080–2720 MHz frequency ranges. Depending on operational requirements, users can select between two and ten modules with the required frequency ranges. Each module consumes up to 130 W. The rental price is agreed with a sales manager and depends on the number of selected frequency ranges.
Hrets 4MTs is a vehicle-mounted modular system designed to counter UAVs, including DJI Mavic drones, within the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency ranges. Its power consumption is up to 700 W, and the rental price is UAH 2,500 per day.
Another available option is Hrets 4M, a lightweight system designed to counter FPV drones within the 470–530 MHz and 700–1050 MHz frequency ranges. It provides signal suppression at a stated distance of 70–400 m. The rental price is UAH 3,000 per day.
The rental is formalized through an agreement and an acceptance and transfer certificate. The rental fee is charged for each day of actual use. To receive an EW system, the renter must also provide a security deposit equal to the value of the device.
Once the documents have been completed and the security deposit has been paid, the equipment is transferred to the user. The first rental day is the day on which the system is physically received. After the equipment is returned, BlueBird Tech managers inspect its technical condition and verify that all components are present. If the system is returned in working order and without damage, the security deposit is refunded to the user.
If the renter subsequently purchases the system, the amount paid for the rental is credited towards its purchase price. The daily rental fee is deducted from the security deposit. If the entire deposit is used, ownership of the system is automatically transferred to the renter.
