Our company  launches a strategic partnership with the International University in Odesa

29.04.2026

BlueBird Tech is investing in the future of Ukraine’s defense industry by expanding its network of educational partnerships. The International University in Odesa has become a new participant in the manufacturer’s program—this is already the third higher education institution within the company’s strategy, following the Kyiv-based National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” and the Kyiv Aviation Institute.

The goal of the program is to deliver expert lectures for senior students in technical fields, where BlueBird Tech engineers share practical experience in developing defense products – from concept to deployment on the front line.

In addition, the company’s HR specialists present the employment conditions and career prospects for future engineers in the defense tech sector.

Students also had the opportunity to ознакомиться with the company’s flagship products, including the fixed-wing UAV “Bebradrone” and the drone detector “Chuyka” in various color options.

“Today, we invest not only in technologies—we invest in the people who will create these technologies tomorrow. It is crucial for us that students see real engineering, understand how effective frontline solutions are developed, and have the opportunity to become part of this industry. Ukraine needs strong and skilled professionals, and BlueBird Tech is ready to contribute to this,” the BlueBird Tech company stated.

The event brought together over 100 students. Most attended in person, while others joined the meeting online. Iryna Strelkova, Dean of the Faculty of Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, and Computer Science at the International University in Odesa, noted that student interest in the defense tech sector is very high. Young people are not only interested in modern technologies but also actively creating their own prototypes.

“Meetings with representatives of BlueBird Tech are an important part of the cooperation. They help motivate students, as direct communication with engineers provides them with an understanding of modern technologies, employer expectations, and clear career prospects. Due to the war, defense technologies have become a highly relevant field. The technological attractiveness of defense tech lies in the combination of various disciplines: programming, electronics, engineering, and AI. This sector is actively developing in Ukraine, and students are aware of it. The opportunity for internships, rapid professional growth, and work on complex challenges is a strong motivator,” says Iryna Strelkova.

BlueBird Tech and the International University in Odesa will further deepen their cooperation, including the launch of joint educational projects.
