Our company introduces new ultra-lightweight antennas Yagi-Uda Lite for drones and communication systems

20.07.2026

BlueBird Tech is expanding its lineup of radio frequency equipment with the introduction of the new ultra-lightweight directional antennas Yagi-Uda Lite 750 and Yagi-Uda Lite 915. They improve communication range and signal quality in both digital and analog systems.

The key feature is the combination of high antenna gain (up to 9 dBi) and extremely low weight. Depending on the model, the antennas weigh just 75–85 grams, making them an efficient solution for repeater drones, ground stations, and remote communication systems.

According to BlueBird Tech, the new Yagi-Uda Lite series was developed with a focus on mobility, rapid deployment in the field, and reliable operation in environments where stable long-range communication is essential.

“Reliable communication on the battlefield is one of the key factors in the successful execution of combat missions. In environments where EW systems are actively used, improving signal quality is critical. That is why we continue to expand our lineup of antenna solutions that help extend the operating range of communication systems, reduce the impact of interference, and improve mission effectiveness,” said BlueBird Tech engineers.

How the Antennas Yagi-Uda Lite 750 and Yagi-Uda Lite 915 Work

The new antennas use a Yagi-Uda directional radiation pattern, concentrating the signal in the desired direction. This not only extends the operating range of communication systems but also reduces the impact of interference and improves data transmission quality.

The Yagi-Uda Lite 750 operates in the 730–840 MHz frequency range and is optimized for 750 MHz, while the Yagi-Uda Lite 915 is designed for the 870–1000 MHz range with a 915 MHz center frequency.

Thanks to their compact size, low weight, and mechanical durability, the antennas can be integrated into UAV systems as well as stationary and mobile communication platforms without adding significant weight to the platform.

The new antennas Yagi-Uda Lite 750 and Yagi-Uda Lite 915 are now available for order on the official BlueBird Tech website.
