The device is called the “Promin-13” drone carrier.
The device is manufactured by BlueBird Tech.
The “Promin-13” drone carrier is used together with the “Vishchun-P” relay unit.
It is designed for stable video signal transmission from an FPV drone to the operator over long distances, amplifying control and telemetry signals, and holding position without a GNSS signal.
To secure video transmission, the “Promin-13” is equipped with the Chameleon analog video encryption system.
The drone carrier is built on a 13-inch heavy-duty carbon frame.
It uses a SpeedyBee F405 flight controller.
It uses a RunCam Phoenix 2 SE camera.
Power is supplied by two 7S2P configuration batteries.
Flight time with the relay unit attached is at least 55 minutes.
The maximum payload weight is up to 1500 g.
It supports POSHOLD, RTL, and ALTHOLD modes.
Video transmitter power control is assigned to channel AUX7 by default.
The video transmitter has two power levels: 25 mW and 1000 mW.
Relay antenna tilt control is assigned to channel AUX10 by default.
RTL mode activates automatically if the connection to the control equipment is lost, and can also be enabled manually to return the drone to its takeoff point.
The manufacturer does not recommend discharging the battery below 21V (3V per cell).
The drone carrier is launched in POSHOLD mode (position hold mode).
The standard configuration of the drone carrier is not designed for nighttime operation — a night-capable version of the “Promin-13” is available for that purpose.
The optical navigation system’s error margin is about 10 m per 1 km of distance traveled, and increases in strong wind, low light, and rapid maneuvers.
