EW modules manufactured in Ukraine

BlueBird Tech

EW modules are interchangeable radio-frequency units designed to generate jamming signals within a specified frequency range. They are used as part of electronic warfare (EW) systems to suppress control channels, telemetry, and data transmission links of unmanned systems and communication equipment.

How to choose a module

How to choose an EW module for a specific task

The choice of a module depends on the required frequency range, the EW platform format, and the operating conditions.

01

Why EW modules are needed in modern conditions

For effective EW system operation, it is important to have interchangeable modules for specific frequency bands. They enable to:

  • generate a dense suppression field within the required frequency band;
  • enhance the effectiveness of the EW system against specific threats;
  • quickly reconfigure the system according to the operational situation;
  • ensure stable system performance in field conditions.
02

Who EW system modules are suitable for and how they are used

  1. Military units, for configuring EW systems for specific frequency bands, enhancing jamming capability, and adapting to changing threats.
  2. Communications units, for creating a protective radio-frequency field around positions and communication nodes.
  3. UAV units, for strengthening countermeasures against enemy control channels and reducing risks during flight missions.
03

Operating principle of an EW system module

The module generates a jamming signal within a specified frequency range and transmits it to the EW system antenna, creating a suppression field that reduces the effectiveness of enemy control, telemetry, and data transmission.

FAQ

What is an EW module?

An EW module is a replaceable radio-frequency unit for modular EW systems that generates a jamming signal within a specified frequency range. It is integrated into mobile or stationary complexes and operates as part of a system together with an antenna and a power supply unit.

The module is designed to create a dense electronic suppression field to reduce the effectiveness of control channels, telemetry, and data transmission of unmanned systems and communication equipment. Its modular design allows selecting individual units for specific frequency ranges (from 170 to 1050 MHz depending on the model), quickly reconfiguring the system, and adapting the EW system to changing conditions and types of threats.

What is the power of a single EW module?

The power of a single module is from 50 W (in some versions – 60 W). It is important to note that total power consumption depends on the number of installed modules in the system: the larger the configuration, the higher the power supply requirements of the system.

Where can I buy EW modules?

You can order modules through official BlueBird Tech channels or by contacting the sales department at +38 073 864 04 07.

The key difference is the original generator, which creates a dense and uniform interference with a variable dust shape.
Tests have confirmed the high efficiency of the generators, in particular, against frequency hopping control devices.
Each module is individually configured and shows consistently high performance.
